Sometimes a wedding requires a limo. Other times, you need a school bus.
Elyse and Nick set the tone for their four-day wedding week on Cape Cod during the Fourth of July weekend perfectly, with a retired school bus driving everyone around, decorated inside and out and always full of drinks.
We first met Elyse and Nick in 2008 at Caroline and Manny’s wedding, in Santorini, Greece. We had remained in touch with them over the years and were ecstatic when they asked us to photograph their wedding. The wedding was a fantastic adventure every day, with guests being treated to champagne by the beach, a boat cruise on the Cape, and a wine tasting at a local vineyard. All of this before the actual wedding day, which proved to be one of the most emotional and high-energy weddings we’ve ever photographed.
“Epic” is one of the most commonly overused words to describe weddings these days, but when we think back to our four days in Cape Cod with Elyse and Nick, “epic” is always the first word that comes to mind and seems to be the only word that truly fits the experience.

Amazing! Looks like a totally fun wedding.
All killer no filler!
Masterpiece! You two nailed this wedding. Especially love that first portrait! Reception shots are wow, wow, wow, wow…love em’ all!
I LOVE this wedding! I am constantly amazed at how well you capture those quiet moments that no one notices! My absolutely favorite shot is when they both make the same faces! It just tells how similar they are without any words.
And of course reception shots are ah-mazing!
So, so, good, guys. You amaze me. Each one of these is swoon-worthy. xoxo
Best ever you guys. Seriously.
Vous êtes des fous, des fous de l’image, ou plutôt des génies! c’est superbe!
In your language: Whaouuuuuuuuuh! oh my god! it’s absolutely fantastic! BRAVO!
Awesome work!
Exquisite. Good job.
Epic. Those reception shots. Holy amazingness!
Sorprendente.
Really beautiful…
Composition was ON! – great stuff, love this wedding.
Nice work, Erin & Ben. Looks like a fantastic couple with a great group of people. Benjamin, love the birds-eye view of the dude bent over backwards on the dance floor…that’s just killer, buddy!
Amazing photos! Soo inspirational!
God I love these. The reception photos are fantastic. My favourite…Im sorry I can’t pick!
Wow, a school bus that never gets ran out of drinks is a great idea for a wedding that will take place for days.
I love their wedding, it’s very beautiful
Ben and Erin,
A+. That second shot on the boat with the perfect expression and the speed boat passing just in the right spot in the frame- that is definitive decisive moment! I also loved the bride and groom’s same expression against the clean blue sky, and the pool dive at the end- oh and of course lovable Erin getting in on the dancing action. Tons of great stuff here.
Those are awesome! So glad I stumbled onto your blog!
Big Wedding-Pictures!

love it…very nice…
Amazing work as always!!!
The first photo of the couple standing in the vinyard almost looks like they are surrounded by a heart the way you framed them with the vines and trees. If only that middle tree was missing…
Great job!
