Eunice and Shan are an elegant, stately, quiet couple. We had already gotten to know them a bit during their engagement session in March, when we took pictures, went for a hike with their dog Wilson, and had sushi.
This time, we watched them get married, eat post-ceremony popsicles at the church, dance around in a sombrero and stumble their way back to their hotel room at the end of the night. Well, Shan stumbled. Eunice supported.
When we wrote to tell them their photos were ready, Shan responded that he was especially interested to find out what happened during the last hour and a half of his wedding. We had to laugh, thinking of the reception and how we found Shan asleep in a chair in a back hallway. All I know is that I’m glad they let loose, raided the photobooth props, and gave us these fun pictures. Eunice and Shan, and their wonderful, charismatic friends and family, proved that wedding receptions are a blast, especially when you stop counting the number of shots your friends make you do.
In all seriousness, Eunice and Shan, thank you for being so much fun, and so kind to us throughout this whole process. Your generosity, grace and selflessness will stick with us through the years. We are so happy to know you two.
