Charleston wedding photographers photograph the wedding of Gia and Kurt. Gia is the daughter of famous winemaker Fred Franzia.
Gia is the youngest daughter of famous California winemaker Fred Franzia, co-owner of the company that founded Charles Shaw wines, commonly known as “Two-Buck Chuck,” which is sold at Trader Joe’s stores.
Gia’s family has been in the wine industry ever since her great-grandmother Teresa Franzia started the Franzia Wine Company in 1906, near Yosemite Valley. So naturally, Gia’s wedding featured a wine and grape theme, with the color purple dominating the décor.
Gia and Kurt are wonderful, fun people who love to have a good time together. They took great care to make sure their guests were entertained throughout the day, including having the wedding party perform the final dance number from “Dirty Dancing” for their first dance, complete with the famous lift at the end.
