Jessica and Marc chose one of our favorite venues, the iconic Vizcaya Estate, for their Miami wedding on Biscayne Bay.
Because it was a Jewish wedding on a Saturday, they held a post-sunset ceremony outdoors under a beautifully lit chuppah. The Italian-inspired architecture of this stunning 1920s mansion provided a fittingly dramatic backdrop to Jessica and Marc’s happiness – during their first look, during the ceremony in the courtyard, and even during their tented reception. I love how there is so often a statue or some other piece of art or architecture peeking out of the corners and edges of Mauricio’s photos.
Jessica and Marc’s wedding was our second wedding this year at Vizcaya. And I’m hoping this trend keeps up! It is an absolute dream to photograph there, especially when you have a bride and groom so full of joy and so clearly head over heels for one another.
