Julie got the man of her dreams and a personal serenade from an 80s rock icon when she married James at his family’s hilltop ranch overlooking Santa Rosa, California.
After the ceremony, Julie’s new father-in-law, Jack Blades of Night Ranger, crooned a version of the band’s hit song Sister Christian that incorporated Julie’s maiden name, Chrisman. He and the band followed with a full set before handing the evening reception over to LA-based DJ Maz.
Meanwhile, throughout the day, James appeared altogether triumphant, at times pumping his fists, at times choking back tears of gratitude, and finally, at the conclusion of the ceremony, thrusting his arms skyward as though the victor in a grand athletic competition.
Dramatic behavior, but not altogether unexpected from a guy whose papa was a rollin’ stone.
