Mimi and Gus love to travel, and their wedding in Santorini, Greece was just one of many stops during their vacation around the Mediterranean. When we asked them why they chose Santorini to get married, they simply stated “We just haven’t been yet.” Spoken like true adventurers.
The day before their wedding, Mimi and Gus were nice enough to invite me and Sheela along with them as they explored the rest of the island. We had a great time getting to know them as Gus shared stories about his college days in Europe and Mimi raved about Folegandros, another Greek Island they had just visited.
The next day, in the presence of only their officiant and myself, Mimi and Gus exchanged vows among the infamously beautiful white rock cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea, offering us some of the most breathtaking views in the world.
Afterward, we spent some time walking around the village of Oia taking portraits, throughout which Mimi and Gus were congratulated and applauded by strangers from all over the world.
It was an honor to be there for you, and we wish you many years of happiness (hopefully some of them on Folegandros!).
