Mimi and Mike met when Mike was a karate teacher, and Mimi was working as the nanny for one of his students, Josh. Mimi would drop Josh off for class, and Mike quickly took notice of the pretty blonde. He eventually worked up the nerve to talk to her, and later asked her out. They’ve been inseparable ever since!
Josh and his sister Abigail were a big part of the wedding, and stayed with the wedding party all day as they got ready at the hotel, and then rode around San Francisco on the limo party bus. The limo bus quickly became the reception pre-party – beer, tequila shots right out of the bottle, dancing, and other wild hijinks. It was so much fun to be a part of it all, and in fact the majority of our photos from the day came from the limo tour around the city – to downtown San Francisco, Crissy Field and the Palace of Fine Arts. And if I remember correctly, a tequila shot was forced upon each of us at some point.
After the very beautiful and formal church ceremony at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, it was back to the limo bus to head to Fandorin Restaurant in Burlingame, where a mariachi band started the night off. It was the perfect San Francisco wedding day, and we were so happy to be there to witness it all.
