The Peristyle in New Orleans' City Park dates back to 1907 and was originally built as a dance pavilion. New Orleans locals Audrey and Ben reserved it for their wedding ceremony, which they held just after sunset. The Peristyle provided a romantic setting, lit warmly with candles, lanterns and twinkle lights. They then had a second-line parade which led guests to their reception in a large event tent. The Peristyle is a great choice for New Orleans weddings, as it is one of the city's oldest and most historic structures, always meant for parties and celebrations from the very start.
