Sam’s Bar Mitzvah

Pavilion By The Bay, San Francisco, California

Sam’s mom Leah knows how to throw a party – and she also knows how to break-dance. She did it at her first son’s Bar Mitzvah (check out Alex’s Bar Mitzvah), and she did it again three years later at Sam’s. I’d say she has earned “cool mom” status.

Sam’s Bar Mitzvah was held at Pavilion by the Bay on San Francisco’s Treasure Island, the same location of Alex’s. The venue provides fantastic views of San Francisco’s skyline, visible through big glass windows. Sam and his friends had a blast dancing, playing hilarious games, and even joining in a surprise flash mob for Sam that Leah orchestrated (again, such a cool mom).

We’re sad the bar mitzvahs are over for this awesome family, but we also can’t help but wonder… Will Leah still be break-dancing for the mother-son dance when Alex and Sam’s weddings come around in the next 10 or 20 years? I certainly wouldn’t put it past her. And if the stars align, maybe we will be there to photograph that too.
