Lina and Rob are transplanted New Yorkers still getting used to life in California. They made a step in the right direction when they purchased a beautiful apartment in downtown San Francisco as their first home together. We suggested starting their engagement pictures there, and were thrilled to discover, upon walking in for the first time, the huge windows – big enough to stand up in – overlooking the street.
After exploring every inch of their pretty apartment, we took our shoot out into the streets of their neighborhood and on to the UCSF campus, where Rob proposed to Lina with a very elaborate scavenger hunt.
We’ll be heading to the town of New Marlborough, Massachusetts, next month to photograph their wedding at Gedney Farm. We’ll tell you more about these two in their wedding post. With her family being from Russia and his from Pennsylvania, and everyone coming together for a weekend-long party, I’m thinking we might have a few good stories to share.
