Stanford University, Stanford, California

Brittany and Connor have a quiet, tender love between them – the kind of love that holds a thousand words in a single, silent glance. We saw this first during their engagement session a couple months before, and were really looking forward to their wedding day.

Their wedding was an idyllic day of smiles, serenity and beautiful skies in Stanford, with a ceremony at Stanford Memorial Church on campus, and a reception at Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club. Brittany surprised Connor with a groom’s cake depicting his favorite things: Harry Potter, Mexican food and the Stanford swim team. I had never seen a cake as unique as that one – with cake and icing shaped into the Hogwarts sorting hat, a sombrero, nachos and swim goggles. Pretty impressive! The cake was made by BethAnn Goldberg at Studio Cake in Menlo Park.

We had a blast watching Brittany and Connor dance the night away with their family and friends – and were happily surprised to see that their parents’ friends were just a tad wilder than the younger guests!
Brittany and Connor have left the Bay Area and are living in Atlanta while Brittany finishes medical school – we wish them all the happiness in the world as they continue to build their lives together.
