It’s 12 days before Halloween, you live in San Francisco, and you’re having a small wedding where you can do whatever you want. So what do you do?
You wear a killer black-and-tan dress, bring your own champagne into City Hall, then party at your favorite restaurant, where the guest favors are gold vampire teeth and everyone pours red wine down each other’s throats (or all over each other’s faces, whatever).
Elizabeth and Chris were married on a Monday, in an emotional ceremony at San Francisco City Hall. Afterward, everyone hopped on a vintage cable car to ride over to Lord Stanley restaurant, where spirits were high, the wine flowed (and splashed), and Elizabeth and Chris reveled in a festive celebration with their family and chosen family.
Kinda makes you rethink that whole “wedding on a Saturday” thing when you clearly can have just as much fun, if not more, on a Monday. When you’re surrounded by the people you love most, who love you back just as much, anything is possible.
