How is a mini session different from a regular family session?
Our Signature family portrait experience is a one-hour session, where we indulge in a pre-session phone call to hear all about the people you love and how they bring meaning to your life. We meet at a location that is special to you, in our studio, or simply a place where you find beauty and joy.
Time is devoted to each individual, the unique relationships within the family, and of course, the family as a whole – loving on each other, goofing off, being playful, and soaking up this unplugged time you’ve set aside for each other. We move, we explore, we get variety – both posed and candid.
Shortly after this session, you’re invited into our studio to experience your photos in our theater room. We work with you to select the most important photographs, the ones you can’t live without. We use those photos to design wall art for your home, or help you select fine-art prints or digital files. This is a bespoke, luxury experience that is tailored to you, from the first phone call to the delivery of your artwork.
Mini sessions take a different approach for people looking for a few great pictures without the full experience. And all it takes is 15 minutes to get you those photos. These sessions are booked online, without a phone call or meeting beforehand.
Each 15-minute session is just $450 and includes 15 fully retouched digital files. On your session day, you meet us at the park, and we start taking pictures right away for your full 15 minutes. We do as many combinations as possible in the allotted time. We have fun with it; we bring the happy energy, easy prompts, and guidance to get the best, most natural expressions. A few days after your session, you’ll receive a link to your online gallery where you can share and download your pictures.
Mini sessions can happen at any time of day. We live right downtown, so we know Hampton Park and the historic district like it’s our own backyard. We don’t need to wait for golden hour at sunset or perfect weather. We know what parts of the park and the historic neighborhood work throughout the day, in sunshine or cloudy weather, and we can make you look good anywhere, at any time.
