Vlad’s Story
Born in Prague, raised in Mountain View, California, and educated at the University of Washington, Vlad has always been a photographer. He went back to Prague to be photo editor at the Prague Post before returning to the United States to continue his career in photojournalism. That’s where this story begins.
Vlad and Ben became friends back in Ben’s college days when Vlad lent Ben a camera lens while the two of them were shooting a basketball game for their respective newspapers. Since then, Vlad has filmed weddings all over the world alongside the photographers of Chrisman Studios. He even filmed Ben and Erin’s weddings in Las Vegas and Mexico, along with very nearly every one of their friend’s weddings for the last 10 years. That’s trust anyone can count on.
Vlad’s films show couples as they truly are – beautiful, happy, funny, sometimes tearful, sometimes tipsy, sometimes nervous and often overcome with joy. He sees weddings as a blend of all those emotions and moments.
