Chrisman Studios’ Charleston photography studio is a home for boundless creativity and endless tenacity. Once you step inside, you’ll be welcomed in like you’ve never felt before at a business. And the results will be beyond anything you’ve ever seen or experienced. And we’ll make you a really good cup of coffee if you’d like one.
Our Charleston photography studio is just five minutes north of downtown in the Upper Peninsula in an old Navy building (there’s still an anchor painted on the front). We’re directly in the middle of the Charleston metro area, right off I-26. From just about anywhere in Charleston, you can get here in 15 minutes or less.
2681 Spruill Ave. North Charleston, SC 29405
Parking:
We have a huge parking lot, and it’s free. So don’t worry about needing to arrive really early like you would if you were trying to park on King Street downtown.
The building:
Our building is home to several other great local businesses, like wedding interior decorators Social Spool, Go Race Productions, and Talk Tools, which create therapy tools for children with disabilities. So when you walk in, you’ll feel right at home with people who are nice, caring and helpful. We’re the second door on the right, Suite E (for Erin).
Interior Details:
Our 1,300 square-foot studio is perfect for all types of photography: families, headshots, maternity, pets, boudoir, products and portraits. Our 24-foot ceilings offer plenty of breathing room, and our theater room will make your jaw drop when you see your photos for the first time. The studio is climate-controlled, so you never have to sweat it in the middle of the Charleston summer. The building is also wheelchair accessible, with clean shared bathroom access. Our studio is also private. We don’t rent it out to other photographers. So when you’re here, our focus is completely on what you need and what we can create with you.

Our theater room where you will see your photos for the first time:
Unless we’re traveling for a wedding, we’re usually in the studio Monday through Friday, and we’ll also come in on Saturday and Sunday as needed.
If you are in the neighborhood, stop by. We’d love to see you.
