When you know, you know. And these two knew in six months.
Krystal, who is from Miami, and David, who has lived in Mexico City his whole life, met at a dinner while Krystal was visiting Mexico City. In six months, they were engaged. “I knew right away,” Krystal said. “I said to my mom, that’s the man I want to marry.”
Krystal and David held their wedding at the Rosewood San Miguel de Allende, starting with the traditional Friday parade through the streets with the mojigangas, the giant puppets dressed as a bride and groom. Their evening wedding was in El Teatro, the amphitheater, which made for an intimate, enchanting ceremony. The ballroom party was everything you ever want a San Miguel wedding reception to be – a colorful, vibrant, energy-packed celebration.
Ben and Mauricio shot a few photos at the farewell brunch the next morning before flying back home. Krystal and David, dressed in all white, were relaxed and feeling every bit of love from an exhilarating weekend honoring family, love and new beginnings.
