Tifa and Simon’s Chabot Space and Science Center wedding celebrated everything that is important to them about their life together.
They wanted a unique wedding venue in the Bay Area, so they chose Chabot. They knew their guests would be delighted by their wedding ceremony in the planetarium. Tifa told us they also loved that having their wedding there supported a nonprofit science education center.
For their first dance, Tifa changed into a fun red ballgown, and she and Simon showed everyone what they’re capable of! The two of them met in a dance group in college, so it made a lot of sense for their first dance to be a choreographed, professional performance. They wowed their guests with an unforgettable sequence of dance moves, culminating in Simon lifting Tifa and spinning her around. They had the biggest smiles on their faces the entire time.
“Music and dancing have always meant a lot to us, so we decided to choreograph a first dance,” Tifa told us. “We felt very lucky to be able to share such a special moment between us with our friends and family.”
